Starting In January 2009

Shine is PreachSista's newest ministry offering to embrace, equip, and encourage women who are searching for ways to experience the fullness of God's grace. Shine is an informal gathering space for women to experience spiritual intimacy and to rediscover the honor and glory of being a woman. 

Shine is suited for women who are looking for safe spaces to explore their Christian faith and calling; who want a Christ-centered female affirming space for Bible study; who want to explore ways of applying the lessons from the Bible with other women; and who are seeking healing from spiritual wounds. There are no fees to join.
Shake thyself from the dust; arise sit [on thy throne],

Every second Saturday of the month we will gather to study a female biblical character. Together we will discover their joys, pains, dreams, and callings. As we read their stories: we will rediscover the honor and glory of being women created and called by God; we will have the freedom to share the experiences of our own spiritual journeys; and, together, deepen our sense of spiritual intimacy.

Shine will meet from 10am to noon on the second Saturday of each month. 2009 dates are:

    January 10,   February 14,    March 14,    April 11,     May 9,     June 13,     July 11, 
    August 8,       September 12,      October  10,     November 14,        December 12
