This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction: that Your word has revived me and given me life.
Psalm 119:50 AMP

If you are thinking that this going to be one of those meditations that encourage you to "hold your head help, stop crying, take it like a big girl because everything will eventually be alright!", you need to click over to the next page.

No, when things are going bad -- when trials come, when your kids act-up, when your paycheck doesn't stretch far enough, and you feel like crying, but you cannot explain why -- TAKE comfort. I mean TAKE it ... seize it, fight for it, pursue it, grab it. Don't get stressed out and curl up under a rock.

TAKE the comfort you long for (don't wait for comfort to come to you or for things to change).
So how do we TAKE comfort? I'm glad you asked.

T -- "Time-Out", sperate yourself from the stress.
A -- "Arm Yourself" with the Word of God.
K -- "Kill every negative thought".
E -- "Encourage Yourself"
